Resident and Fellow Section

The Society sponsors and supports a Resident and Fellows Section comprised of residents and fellows in radiology and radiation oncology from the resident training program in both of the regional divisions. The Resident Physician Section elects its own officers and schedule educational programs with or apart from the IRS or its two divisions. The IRS sponsors the Steven M. Pinsky Resident Research Award and provides grants for residents from Illinois to attend the ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Program in Washington, DC each year.
